Last month  Mapfre Cultura has open an exposition about Yves Saint Laurent in Madrid, inspired on his career of 40 years in the world of fashion.

The exposition has more than 150 high couture and prèt-a-porter desings, more than 80 drawings, pcitures and videos, his student years with Dior,  and much more: from his first safari jacket, through his first suit, to his indispensable night dresses. Besides, the organization has scheduled a series of conferences that can be followed on Facebook, by clicking here.

The exposition opens from October 6 to January 8 2012 in the headquarters of Mapfre, Paseo Recoletos, 23. The entrance is free and there are free guiding tours on Tuesdays from 12.00 a 19.00 every 30 minutes for groups made at the reception.   Here there is more information.
